Azula is currently based on Vashon Island, Seattle Area, Washinton State, USA, where she is involved in wide variety of projects and performances.
Her ever-growing eclectic repertoire includes many greater and less well-known of Edith Piaf songs, Spanish, Portuguese and Portuguese Fado, Jazz, Blues, as well as a variety of World Music.
Her undergraduate degree includes classical training as a mezzo soprano coloratura, and she went on to study in Vienna and Paris where she sang professionally at a number of venues, including the Hollywood Savoy, near the French Stock Exchange.
Azula began her vocal training singing in her grandmother's garden. Since she can remember, she has been singing, growing up in a house always filled with music, whether it be from her mother's love of classical music, and all music Italian and Bohemian, her father's love of Barbershop Quartet Choirs, or her Grandmothers, one who loved opera, the other, Sunday Choir.
